Photography has always been a huge part of my life. At the age of eight, I began my journey by taking elaborate, "studio"-style photos of my very first golden retriever, Winston. As I grew older, my interest in capturing the moment strengthened. I was lucky enough to travel throughout high school and college, which only solidified my need to photograph every detail and memory.
I went to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated with a degree in Design Communications & Entrepreneurship. While I love being a Frankenmuth-based photographer, it has been so exciting to travel throughout the world to photograph weddings and milestones. Destination weddings hold a dear place in my heart, and am always delighted to capture timelessly beautiful moments in new and exciting locales, rich with culture.
Aside from my love of photography and traveling, I also have so much love for my husband Andy and all of our animals. Andy is a DJ and it's so fun for us to be booked together for weddings. He always considers it a “free” date night, with dinner and taking a moment to dance to Chris Stapleton when he plays our song. We live on a farm with our two miniature Highland Dexter cows Murray and Tate, our three dogs Ruger, Porter, and Gibson, our two cats Pacino and Pesci, a paddling of ducks, and our newest rescue bunny. In fact, many of my clients prefer to have their photos taken on the farm! If you book me, please bring me your animals to photograph, too. I would love nothing more than to include them in your photos and preserve them in your memories. They are such a huge part of the family!
Some other things I love include: apple cider donuts, gardening and canning our harvest, Halloween, renovating our old farmhouse, anything related to Chip & Joanna Gaines, Lake Michigan, and the movie Hocus Pocus ("Amuck, amuck, amuck!").
